Our First Jersey Sponsor: Welcome, Matt Winzenried Real Estate Partners!

Kindra Goehler • May 3, 2026

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with the Regent Soccer Club community: Matt Winzenried Real Estate Partners is our very first jersey sponsor!

This is a milestone moment for our club. Since 1970, Regent Soccer Club has been rooted in the near west side of Madison, providing an inclusive, fun, and affordable place for kids to fall in love with the beautiful game. Landing our first-ever jersey sponsor is a meaningful step forward in our growth—and we couldn’t be more excited that it’s coming from within our own Regent family.

 Matt Winzenried Real Estate Partners

A Regent Parent, Coach, and Champion

Matt Winzenried is a proud Regent parent, with a player in the U11 program, and a volunteer coach for the kindergarten squad. He sees firsthand what makes this club so special.

His real estate team, Matt Winzenried Real Estate Partners, operates under Realty Executives and serves families across the Madison area, including West Madison, Fitchburg, Verona, and surrounding communities. Matt and his team are known for their local expertise and a true team approach that makes the process smoother and more successful for their clients.

Whether you're looking for a bigger yard to kick the ball around or a finished basement to host post-season celebrations, Matt and his team are ready to help.

That same community-first mindset is what Regent Soccer is all about, and it is what makes this partnership such a natural fit.

What This Means for Our Players

Beginning with the Fall 2026 season, Regent players will take the field wearing jerseys featuring the Matt Winzenried Real Estate Partners logo. For our kids, it’s a source of pride—a sign that people in their community believe in what they’re doing. For the club, sponsorship support like this helps us continue to keep soccer accessible and invest in the experience we offer our players and families.

“Regent Soccer has given my family so much—the friendships, the growth, the sense of belonging. When the opportunity came up to be the club’s first jersey sponsor, it was an easy yes. I want every kid who puts on that jersey to feel how much this community is behind them.”

— Matt Winzenried, Parent, Coach & Sponsor

Thank You, Matt

To Matt and the entire Winzenried family: thank you for believing in Regent Soccer Club and investing in our players’ futures. This kind of support doesn’t just put a logo on a jersey—it strengthens the foundation of a club that has been part of this neighborhood for over fifty years.

We can’t wait to see our players hit the field this fall, proudly wearing their new jerseys and carrying the spirit of community that defines Regent Soccer.

Dear Regent Soccer Club Community, We are pleased to announce that Sara Stern is joining Regent Soccer Club as our new Executive Director. Sara brings a strong background in organizational leadership, youth soccer coaching, and relationship building, along with a deep appreciation for youth sports and the role community soccer plays in developing players, families, and coaches. A native of McFarland, Sara competed for four years on the women’s soccer team at UW-Milwaukee, contributing to four Horizon League Championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances, and went on to play competitively in Sweden for three years. Sara will be spending her first weeks getting to know our players, families, coaches, staff, and volunteers, and learning how the Club operates today. We’re excited to welcome her and look forward to the positive impact she will have on Regent SC in the years ahead. Please join us in welcoming Sara to Regent Soccer Club! Sincerely, Janet McClain President, Regent Soccer Club (on behalf of the Board of Directors)
