Game Day Reminders for Kinde - 10U teams

Kinde Game Day Reminders

Kinde teams will train for 30 min before each game.

  • Games are typically on Saturday and Sundays
  • Field Size: 25-35 yds long x 15-25 yds wide 
  • Goal Size: 4yds wide 
  • Ball Size: 3
  • # of players: 3v3 (no GK)
  • game time: 3x10 min periods 
  • roster size: ~6
  • throw ins/goal and corner kicks: yes
  • offsides: no
  • heading: no
  • Referee: volunteer coach - mainly  keeps the game moving
  • Uniforms: home team is responsible to change when playing a team of the same color.  ex. If 2 Regent teams are playing each other the home team would change to white
  • Game Cancellations- please see our Policy and Procedures page for details
  • Score Reporting - for this league, we try not to focus on the score. However, we do want to keep track of how our teams are doing. Please use this Score Reporting Form to give us feedback on each of your games. We would appreciate any information that you can give us about your games. We would like to know: 
    • was the game even or lop-sided (if it was lop-sided, please tell us which team was stronger)
    • were there any conflicts or issues that arose during the game between the teams, coaches or parents.

7U/8U Game Day Reminders

  • Games are typically on Saturday and Sundays
  • Field Size: 25-35 yds long x 15-25 yds wide. Use flags to mark the corners
  • Goal Size: 4yds wide (use cones/discs)
  • Ball Size: 3
  • # of players: 4v4 (no GK)
  • Game Time: 7U Games = 4x12 min quarters (take ~5 min between quarters 2 and 3 for a longer "half time") 8U Games =3x15 min
  • Roster Size: min 6/max 10
  • throw ins/goal and corner kicks: yes
  • Offsides: no
  • Heading: no
  • Referee: volunteer coach - mainly keeps the game moving
  • Uniforms: home team is responsible to change when playing a team of the same color.  ex. If two Regent teams are playing each other the home team would change to white

9U/10U Game Day Reminders

  • Games are typically on Saturday and Sundays
  • Ball Size: 4
  • # of players: 7v7 including GK
  • Game time: 2x25 min halves
  • Roster size: min 10/max 14
  • Offsides: YES; please see below for details.  
  • Referee: yes; HOME team pays full amount of $15/match - the Referee will "check in" the team 10-15 min before the game is supposed to start. They will do an equipment check to make sure everyone has shinguard, legal cleats, no jewelry etc. It is customary to give the referee the referee fee at this time (before the game starts)
  • Uniforms:  Home team is expected to change colors if there both teams wear the same color (ie Home team = White jersey)
  • Addition of a "build out line."
  • Punting the ball is not allowed 
  • No intentional headers allowed.  FYI - Referee will award an indirect free kick to the opposing team. Additional details on how this rule is applied can be found HERE
  •  Offsides is called for our 9U and 10U  leagues but the offsides line is the build out line (not the half line) . For an understanding of how offsides works - click HERE
  • Substitutions Referees are now in charge of the game. When you are ready to sub players into a game, have them line up  at the half line of the field. Referees are trained to watch for players waiting at the half line and the next time your team is eligible to make a substitution, the referee will "call them in." Teams can sub at their own throw-in, either teams' goal kick or before a kickoff (ie after a goal is scored)

  • SCORE REPORTING: Home team is responsible for report the scores. Please use this process to report scores directly into Demosphere. Scores/standings will be visible to the public and will be used for placement in future seasons.

  • there is a GET STARTED green button at the bottom. You will need the pin number 9536 , and the game number (located on the schedule to the left of the match time)
