SANTIAGO AZCARATE HENAO

Santiago has been coaching soccer with Regent SC at various age groups for the last seven years.  He is currently coaching the 11U Boys Indigo team and helping with all of our new 9/10U MAYSA program teams each week.  

Santiago  grew up in the Madison area and has played soccer his whole life. He has played for a number of the clubs in the area including Madison FC, Verona SC, Madison 56ers, and RUSH SC.  In addition to coaching youth soccer with Regent, he also coached the Freshman Soccer team at Verona High School and assisted with their Varsity team.  

Santiago is very passionate about soccer. He frequently watches soccer and continues to play soccer twice a week. Over the years, he has refereed both indoor and outdoor soccer games. 

Although Santiago intends to continue coaching in the future, he is excited to take on a leadership role as Director of Coaching for Regent. He is looking forward to continuing to learn more about the administration of Regent SC. He is particularly excited about the opportunity to help Regent's many volunteer soccer coaches as they work with their teams.
