In order to comply with WYSA Risk Management, every coach must complete a background check and complete two e-Training modules (SafeSport and Concussion Information).

Recreational Coaches in Wisconsin are required to have completed one grassroots course OR have one Y1 or Y2 certificate. All in-person coach clinics occur during the "off season."
Coaches working with Academy or "Competitive" teams are required to have completed two Grassroots Courses (one of them should be 9v9 or 11v11) OR hold an E license (E license refers to the previous system of coach licenses)

Registration for a Y1 or Y2 Certificate is through the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Demosphere system. You will need to login using the same email login that you use when you register to volunteer as a coach. When you login, you choose "register as a participant" and the Demosphere system will show you what clinics are available to you at the time.
