Madison Area Youth Soccer Association

Blue Program (u11-14)

Our Blue/Select Program is designed for players who would like a little more to their soccer experience.   Players are selected to teams within their birth year age group via a tryout process. If we believe a player can compete at this level and Regent SC rosters are full, we will work with our Alliance partners to place these players appropriately within their programs in efforts to keep everyone on the pitch. Players wishing to learn more about the tryout process, please visit our tryout page.  HERE.

Registration deadline is 48 hours after offers go out.  Late fees will apply after that date.

You can register for our Blue Program here

Blue Program teams will train twice/week for 1 1/2 hours each session.  These teams will play in MAYSA league, typically have 8 matches, and attend 1-2 tournaments per season.  Blue Program teams typically attend tournaments within the MAYSA map.  Blue Program teams will have a licensed coach who has been identified by Regent SC as a committed professional whose goal is to teach the game in an inclusive, fun, safe and age appropriate environment.  Players accepting an offer to join this program are making a commitment to be at the above mentioned soccer events both in the fall and spring seasons.

The cost for a full year in our Blue Program is  ~$400-600 per player and varies slightly from team to team. This includes registration, uniforms, coaching, referee and tournament fees. Team fees cover both the fall and spring seasons. Additional costs may include individual athletic wear, winter indoor leagues or trainings, and travel expenses. *please note new uniforms are required every 2 years to coincide with the manufacturer uniform cycle. The new uniform cycle begins for the fall 2018-19 player year.

Birth year verification per MAYSA

  1. Any one of the following are appropriate verification of age: a birth certificate; a birth registration issued by an appropriate government agency or board of health records; a passport; an alien registration card issued by the United States Government; a certificate issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service attesting to age; a current driver’s license; an un-expired federal, state or local government identification card (if documentation of date of birth is required); or a certification of a United States citizen born abroad issued by the appropriate government agency. Hospital, baptismal or religious certificates will not be accepted. (With the state-wide registration system, birth dates need only be verified one time at the MAYSA office; the record is then kept with the state for as long as the player is registered with WYSA.)
