9U - 10U In-House

Season: Fall 2023

9U - 10U League info:

Alliance League: 9U - 10U age groups are either coed or all-girls. Teams typically practice once or twice a week and will play against Shorewood, Middleton, and other Regent teams on the weekends either at a Westside Park or a Middleton field - teams are coached by parent volunteers.

9U - 10U (2014-2013) Program Overview:
  • Teams are either coed or all-girls
  • 9U - 10U play 7V7 (with goalies; with refs)
  • $151.80 (full-year); $94.60 (Spring-only cost)
  • Additional Team Fees:
    • ~$12-40 per player for ref fees (depending on age group & number of players per team) to be collected by a coach or manager from families.
  • $26 jerseys (1x blue & 1x white) - purchased directly from Think It then Ink It (more info below)
  • Teams typically practice once or twice a week on the Westside of Madison
    • Coaches are able to request when/where they practice
  • Games are Saturdays/Sundays
    • 4 home games @ West Towne and 4 away games in Middleton
GAME DAY REMINDERS:
  • Game Time: 2x25 min halves
  • Roster size: min 10/max 14
  • Ball Size: 4
  • Field Size: L: 55-65y x W: 35-45y
  • Goal Size: 6' X 18'
  • Field Setup: Coaches should be on one side of the field with their team. All spectators should be on the opposite side. We discourage spectators from standing behind the goals during play.
  • Throw-ins: Yes
  • Goal & Corner Kicks: Yes
  • Offsides: Yes
  • Heading: No
  • Referee: Yes
  • Substitutions: Players should line up at the half-line of the field. Referees will call players in the next time a team is eligible to make a substitution. Teams can sub at their own throw-in, either teams' goal kick or before a kickoff (i.e., after a goal is scored).
  • Uniforms: It's the HOME team's responsibility to change when playing a team of the same color 
    • For Example: Regent vs Regent - home team changes to white, away team stays blue

In-House Program VS MAYSA Program

Regent offers two programs for 9U-10U players - Regent In-House and Regent MAYSA. See PDF below for a more detailed comparison.

UNIFORMS WILL BE ORDERED ONLINE FROM THINK IT THEN INK IT:

  • Blue jersey (required)
  • White jersey (required)
  • Shorts (optional)
  • Socks (optional)

PLAYERS SHOULD WEAR THE FOLLOWING GEAR TO EACH GAME:
  • Regent blue/white jersey
  • Soccer shorts (any color/brand is fine in this league)
  • Shin guards
  • Soccer socks to cover shin guards
  • Rounded cleats or athletic shoes

IN-HOUSE (6U-10U) UNIFORM ORDERING - FALL 23 CLOSED

The link to order In-House uniforms from Think It then Ink It for FALL 2023 is now closed. Players are required to have 1 Blue jersey & 1 White jersey - purchasing the matching shorts & socks is optional, but strongly encouraged! You may choose any number you'd like, we don't worry about duplicates for these age groups.

Spring 2024 Waitlist - Now Available!

Anyone interested in joining a 9U - 10U In-House team in the Spring must fill out the WAITLIST prior to February 1st, 2024. If spots become available, we will contact players on a first come, first served basis.

Refund Policy

*Refund Policy: A refund request for registration fees can be made to Regent SC up until August 1st (Fall season) and up to March 15th (Spring season). Any requests made after these dates will not be refunded. See our Refund Policy page for more details.
